Izlan Villas brings together eight high-end villas in a gated, guarded residence at kilometre 10 of the Ourika road, a quarter of an hour from the centre of Marrakech. The one-hectare estate faces the snow-capped peaks of the Atlas.

Each villa is L-shaped and faces due south: a double-height living and dining room opening through wide glazed bays onto the infinity pool and private garden, three suites on the ground floor, and a master suite upstairs beneath a four-metre cantilever.

Cut-stone facades, post-tensioned slabs for beam-free volumes, underfloor heating, heated pool, home automation: the specification is that of a contemporary house designed to be lived in year-round as much as on holiday.

Why Izlan

Izlan means “the songs” in Tamazight, the language of the High Atlas. Eight villas, eight tempos: Largo, Adagio, Andante, Moderato, Cantabile, Allegro, Vivace, Presto. Houses made for entertaining, each at its own pace.
